Olena Dats’s  SS17  was inspired by black-and-white movies : classic of the Italian cinematography by  Federico Fellini. Especially , his “Dolce Vita”. For this reason colour scale of the collection is sustained in white, grey and black colours. But, despite laconic colouring, the cut of clothes revolts against rules, forming surge in elegance and cheerfulness. “Dolce Vita”, - Olena Dats’ says, admiring the work of the director, but the plot of her collection moves apart the framework, showing that in life there is always a place for happiness, dreams and relax .

The main thing is to be able to enjoy it.

Dresses have always been the main component of the Olena Dats’s collections in a new season have changed. Silk skirts full of air , graceful cocktail silhouettes, elegant evening gowns made of the thinnest cotton.  Absolute femininity in the new collection from Olena Dats’ is read in each detail: silhouettes of bulk things are formed thanks to tucks and flounces, forming the lightest cloud. Silk fabric with horizontal lines reminding the wave crests creates additional effect of layering. Elegant floor-length dresses of fine cotton, allow to look elegantly even in the hottest days.

In this collection, the designer decided to make the experiment and to shift the focus from the dresses to suits and pantsuits of various cut: with wide or narrowed trousers in which it is comfortable, both on the bridge of a luxury captain’s yacht, and on a walk along the sea coast.
